AIS promotes Nick Haritos to president, Bruce Platzman to remain as CEO

AIS, a leading national manufacturer of commercial office furniture and seating based in Leominster, announced Nick Haritos has been promoted to president of AIS, effective July 1.

In his new role, Haritos will lead daily operations and sales. Bruce Platzman will remain as CEO, and Arthur Maxwell will continue as chairman of the board.

Commercial officer furniture manufacturer AIS, of Leominster, has promoted Nick Haritos to president of the company, current president and CEO Bruce Platzman announced on Monday.

Platzman will remain with the company as CEO after Haritos assumes his new role on July 1, and Arthur Maxwell will remain chairman of the board.

AIS furniture continues churning out face masks, donates 25,000 more

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – Massachusetts-based commercial office furniture specialist AIS has donated 25,000 face masks to the city of North Charleston, South Carolina. The company has been producing masks for communities in need since the pandemic began.
“We are extremely grateful for the generosity of AIS and its President and CEO Bruce Platzman, as there is no question that this nationwide charitable initiative has saved lives,” said North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey.
