Office furniture manufacturer shuts down ‘unrecoverable’ brand
Monday, 12 February 2024
ITASCA, Ill. – A producer of workplace furnishings will shut down one of its segments and manufacturing plants this year.
The Illinois-based Fellowes Brands announced changes last week to its contract furniture division, formerly known as Trendway, which it acquired in 2019. Among the changes will be the closure of the Trendway production facility in Michigan later this year and the discontinuation of a portion of its furniture product offering, including systems, case goods, filing, storage and tables. Fellowes will continue to accept orders of these discontinued products until June and ship orders through July 2024.
