Orgatec 2024 in Cologne was marked by a celebratory atmosphere, boosted by unseasonably mild and sunny weather, as 50,000 trade visitors explored the vast Kölnmesse complex, celebrating its 100th anniversary. With 729 exhibitors from 40 countries spread across eight halls, the event saw bustling crowds midweek, though overall attendance appeared lower than in 2022.

La-Z-Boy names new CFO to succeed Lucian

La-Z-Boy Inc. has named a successor for Bob Lucian, senior vice president and chief financial officer, who will retire at the end of the fiscal year, effective April 26, 2025. Taylor Luebke will succeed Lucian beginning Jan. 1.  

HNI names new CFO after executive retires

Office and contract furniture giant HNI has named Vincent Berger as its new chief financial officer and executive vice president, effective Dec. 28. The appointment comes with the retirement of Marshall Bridges, who held the role previously. Bridges worked at HNI for nearly 11 years in various leadership roles.
